In a beautiful part of north Devon, bordering on Exmoor National Park, this attractive 17th century holiday cottage lies within easy reach of the famous ‘Doone’ countryside as well as traditional seaside at Minehead, Lynton, Lynmouth and Porlock Weir. The property enjoys its own patio with furniture and use of large shared gardens. The market town of Tiverton, 7 miles, great fishing and sailing on Wimbleball Lake, and Knightshayes Court (NT) are nearby whilst Exeter and Dartmoor are easily accessible. Good walking, golf and riding are found locally, and village shops and pubs serving food are a short walk.

One bedroom. Entrance into attractive open plan sitting room with wood burning stove and well equipped kitchen with breakfast bar. Shower room/WC. First floor: Very spacious double bedroom with 6' zip and link bed (twins by arr).

Reviews
We arrived to a very warm welcome, the owners were very helpful and friendly. Lots of information on the area, where to visit, walks, hostelries serving great food, local shops, local towns and their attractions. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay.
The village of Bampton is a perfect place to stay to tour Exmoor
We would certainly recommend this cottage and will book it again 10/10.

I would recommmend Old House Cottage to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing break. Smashing little cottage, lovely part of the world, owners very helpful what more do you need?
